World Allergy Training School (WATS): Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia 20 June 2014
On 20 June 2014, the Emerging Societies Program (ESP), a joint initiative of the World Allergy Organization (WAO) and the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI) along with the Asia Pacific Association of Pediatric Allergy, Respirology and Immunology (APAPARI) and the Mongolia Society of Allergy (MSA) held a World Allergy Training School (WATS) in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The Training School was a great success! A special thank you to the speakers: Prof Ruby Pawankar, Dr Stanley Fineman, Prof Jiu Yao Wang and Prof Mila Bautista. In addition, we would like to thank Professors and Officers of the MSA: Prof Battur Ikhagvaa, Bayarlah Sonomjamts, Narantsetseg Logli, and Namjii Erdrnbeyer.

XXI Pediatric Allergy & Immunology National Meeting
The XXI Pediatric Allergy & Immunology National Meeting, a joint collaboration between WAO and the Mexican College of Pediatricians Specialized in Allergy and Clinical Immunology (COMPEDIA), was held in Mazatlán, México, on 25-28 June 2014. We are pleased to announce that the meeting was a great success with 600-800 attendees taking part in an outstanding program.
We extend a special thank you to Prof Ruby Pawankar, WAO Immediate Past President, who presented on “Microbioma and disruption of natural barriers in respiratory disease”. We also especially thank Dr. Noel Rodriguez and COMPEDIA, the hosts of the meeting.
