In 2006, the Council published an important document, Requirements for Physician Training in Allergy: Key Clinical Competencies Appropriate for the Care of Patients with Allergic or Immunologic Diseases: A Provisional Position Statement of the World Allergy Organization. It provides guidance on the optimum content of training programs in allergy for all levels of physicians who see patients with allergic diseases.
National Certification and Accreditation Requirements
