WAO Position Paper on 22-24 January 2009 Delivery of immunotherapy by the sub-lingual (SLIT) route is an exciting therapeutic strategy gradually being adopted by allergy communities throughout the world. WAO is hosting this meeting in Paris to develop a Position Paper, following a first meeting in Genoa in November 2008 to review experience of U.S. trials of SLIT. The meeting will be attended by delegates and observers representing WAO Regional & Affiliate Member Societies and National Member Societies, as well as external organizations, including the US-NIH, GA²LEN, EFA, IPCRG, ARIA, and WONCA.
