One of the most rewarding aspects of my presidential term with WAO has been to collaborate with the extraordinary group of people who make up the WAO Board of Directors. I am proud of the accomplishments of the current WAO Board and appreciative of the ongoing dedication and drive these individuals have to achieve the best outcomes in the work we do together for the organization and to contribute to our profession.

WAO Program in China
The Chinese Allergy Society (CSA) and the World Allergy Organization are co-hosting a Joint Scientific Symposium, 14-16 October in Chengdu, China, in conjunction with the bi-annual scientific meeting of the CSA.
As the only world federation of allergy, asthma and clinical immunology national and regional societies, the WAO works to advance the field worldwide and does that, to a large extent, by collaborating with its Member Societies. WAO welcomes every chance to work with a Member Society and appreciates every such opportunity to collaborate. Scientific meetings play a major role in strengthening and advancing our field, and your dialogues and exchanges in the course of this meeting will contribute to our common objective: optimal patient care.
