WAO Allergy Training School (WATS)

The Emerging Societies Program (ESP), a joint initiative of the WAO and the ACAAI, in collaboration with AAAAI, EAACI and MEAAAIC, is hosting the First WAO Allergy Training School (WATS), to be held on 29th March 2009 in Dubai during the First Middle East-Asia Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Congress (MEAAAIC).
- To educate and update young physicians in the practice of allergic diseases by disseminating state of the art knowledge on the basic and clinical aspects of allergic diseases and enhancing practical knowledge and skills in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases
- To help in capacity building by training representatives from various countries in the diagnosis and management of allergic diseases
- To provide a platform where world class experts would lecture and interact with young physicians
- To stimulate interest in young physicians to pursue the specialty of allergy and thus increase the number of allergists
