WAO Allergy Training School (WATS)

The Emerging Societies Program (ESP), a joint initiative of the WAO and the ACAAI, is hosting the second World Allergy Training School (WATS), to be held on 28-29 March 2010 in Hanoi, Vietnam with participants from Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. The objectives of the Training School are:
- To educate and update young physicians in the practice of allergic diseases by disseminating state of the art knowledge on the basic and clinical aspects of allergic diseases and enhancing practical knowledge and skills in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases
- To help in capacity building by training representatives from various countries in the diagnosis and management of allergic diseases
- To provide a platform where world class experts would lecture and interact with young physicians
- To stimulate interest in young physicians to pursue the specialty of allergy and thus increase the number of allergists
