Junior Members Poster Reception

The WAO Junior Member Abstract reception was held in the Hall of the Hyderabad International Convention Center. We were honored with the talk of Prof Ruby Pawankar and Dr Silvia Sanchez-Garcia warmly welcoming and supporting all the Juniors. Several abstracts that had been submitted by juniors and selected by the Scientific Program Committee were presented during this special event. World allergy experts evaluated the posters during the meeting, and the authors were awarded during the reception. Junior Members received 2 awards on the 7 December at the Poster Session. The first was given to Veeresh K Patil, from UK, and the second to Anderson Phillip Jones, from Australia. Five Juniors received the WAO Travel Grant and the Outstanding Abstracts Awardees included 9 Juniors. Congratulations, Juniors! All the abstracts are available.

Junior Members Symposium
Attendees had the chance to have a “spoonful” of every topic in allergy – from Immunotherapy to Food Allergy, Pediatric Allergy, Respiratory Allergy, and Skin Allergy. Click here to view some pictures from the symposium.

Junior Member Abstract Reception
Several posters that had been submitted by juniors and selected by the Scientific Program Committee were presented during this special event.
