WAO Meetings

World Allergy Congresses (WAC) 

The World Allergy Organization (WAO) held the first World Allergy Congress (WAC) in 1951 in Zurich, Switzerland, and is now held every two years. Each Congress attracts between 2,000-5,000 experts and scientists working and interested in the fields of allergy, immunology and other related fields. In most cases, WAO partners with a regional or national Member Society to host the Congress.

WAO International Scientific Conferences (WISC)

To advance its mission as a global resource and advocate in the field of allergy, advancing excellence in clinical care through education, research and training, the World Allergy Organization (WAO) launched the WAO International Scientific Conference (WISC) in Dubai, UAE in 2010. WISC is a theme-based Scientific Conference alternating with and complementing WAO’s main biennial scientific meeting, the World Allergy Congress (WAC).
