Exciting Line-up of Topics in the New Horizon Sessions

New Horizon Sessions are the “bookend” sessions of the XXIV World Allergy Congress. These sessions showcase the latest science in allergy, asthma and clinical immunology. You will hear in-depth, varied perspectives on each leading lights in the field. New Horizon Sessions are focused tracks that are scheduled to run throughout the day on 14 and 17 October.

New Horizon sessions will provide in-depth and diverse perspectives on anlaylaxis, biologics, personalized medicine, the microbiome, drug allergy, asthma, food allergy, and much more.

"I like to speak / attend WAO congresses and conferences as it gives the opportunity to interact with allergists worldwide."

What are you looking forward to at WAC 2015?
"I am looking forward to meeting allergists from all over the world and in particular Asia, as this might be an important liaison for my networking activities."

What’s hot about the topic you are speaking on (Update in Anaphylaxis: From Infancy to Old Age)?
"Anaphylaxis is a worldwide disease which in respect to elicitors is regionally different. This will be, besides considering age, a major aspect in my talk."

What new findings and information will be given during your session?
"I will provide the most recent data from the European Anaphylaxis Registry, which currently has data on more than 8000 cases. Besides elicitors and cofactors a close analysis of treatment depending on age will be given."
