All WISC attendees who do not have an Indian passport will need to acquire a visa to enter the country.
In order to apply for an Indian Conference Visa, attendees will need to submit invitation and permission letters to the appropriate Indian Ministries within their country. These letters will be provided to attendees by WAO and will be sent to all registered and paid attendees. Indian Conference Visa applications for WISC 2012 will be processed three (3) months prior to the start of the Conference.
Note: Conference visas may only be valid for the duration of the Conference, 5-14 days, depending on the country it is issued from.
SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING INDIAN VISAS
WISC 2012 attendees from the following countries or nationalities:
- Foreigners of Pakistani origin
- Stateless persons
are required to submit the following information to the Ministry Home Affairs (Foreigners Division) at least sixty (60) days before the commencement of the Conference:
- Father/Husbands name
- Date of Birth
- Place of Birth
- Nationality and Passport number
- Date of Issue of Passport
- Place of Issue of Passport
- Date of Expiry of Passport
