On behalf of the World Allergy Organization (WAO) Board of Directors, it is my great pleasure to invite you to participate in the WAO Symposium, Hot Topics in Allergy: Pediatric and Regulatory Aspects, taking place 27-29 April 2017 in Rome, Italy/Vatican City.
This symposium will be broken down into a two-day program on Pediatric Allergy (27-28 April) and a one-day program presenting Regulatory Aspects (29 April). The purpose of this symposium is to bring basic and translational scientists, clinical immunologists, allergists and researchers together to expand this exciting field. Attendance will be limited, making it the ideal setting for discussion and learning.
The scientific program will consist of lectures from the top international experts in Pediatric Allergy as well as leaders from the European Medicines Agency (EMA). Our aim is to summarize what is scientifically known, learn about the cutting-edge research and to reach a consensus about the unmet needs of Pediatric Allergy, while provided the latest updates and regulations from the EMA.
