The purpose of the WAO Small Airways Working Group is to increase awareness of diseases related to the small airways as well as to highlight scientific findings and encourage research in this area.

The WAO Small Airways Working Group website is intended to be an evidence-based, global platform for physicians and other health care professionals around the world, providing them ease-of-access to the most relevant scientific, clinical and educational resources on all aspects of small airway diseases. The centerpiece of the website will be the WAO Small Airways diseases database of literature, to be complemented by educational resources and late-breaking information from the field.
