Abstract Submission Now Open!

It has been both a pleasure and an honor to work with the Scientific Program Committee on the program for the Congress. The process of developing this program has yet again shown to each one of us what is truly extraordinary about the WAO and its Congress: its global reach and representation. We have in particular enjoyed developing the sessions on which the Congress has collaborated with WAO Member Societies, Affiliate Associations, University Training Programs and other invited organizations.

Scientific Program Steering Committee Meeting, Dubai, Dec. 2010
The Congress Scientific Program Steering Committee Meeting in Dubai, UAE Dec. 2010The Preliminary Scientific Program for the Congress is now ready to include the other really important part: contributions to it by individuals like you! We invite and encourage you to contribute your own research for review through the Abstract Submission Site. Abstracts will be programmed in Oral Abstract and thematic Poster Sessions on the 5, 6 and 7 of December. WAO and its Congress recognize the importance of showcasing individual research and the Scientific Program Committee decided that the Oral Abstract and Poster Sessions will be unopposed and will offer lunch boxes to all delegates in attendance. As with its previous Congresses, WAO is especially eager to highlight accepted abstracts from our Junior Member (those under 35 years of age). Junior Members are also encouraged to submit an application for a WAO Travel Grant. This application can be found within the Abstract Submission Site.
