Opportunity to Be Showcased as Featured Authors

The World Allergy Congress (WAC 2011) organizers are pleased to announce two contests in which those submitting abstracts may participate toward enhanced visibility as authors. These contests provide an opportunity to be part of the global reach of WAO to allergists/immunologists through the World Allergy Organization Journal (WAO Journal) and the education features of the WAO website.

All abstracts submitted on case reports will be considered for selection by the Abstract Review Committee as potential WAO Interactive Case Reports, which are published online and can be cited on CVs. (For examples, see The winning authors will be showcased as WAO Featured Abstract Authors during the Congress.

All abstract authors, in addition, may elect to submit a paper to the WAO Journal based on their presentation. If the paper is chosen for publication by 1 October 2011, the author will be showcased as a WAO Journal Featured Abstract Author.

All featured authors from both contests will be identified as winners on their posters or oral abstract presentations and in the WAC 2011 Final Program.
