Participate in the scientific program of the leading global congress in allergy, asthma and clinical immunology!

Abstract Submission Deadline: Sunday, 31 July 2011, Midnight, US Central Time

Submitted Abstracts Reviewed by Experts from Around the World

This is a unique opportunity to present clinical research findings or case reports on a global stage and receive peer review by prominent experts in the field. All abstracts will be reviewed by a select committee representing 33 countries. The Abstract Review Committee consists of members of the WAO Board of Directors, World Allergy Congress 2011 Scientific Program Committee, World Allergy Organization Journal (WAO Journal) Editorial Board, WAO Web Editorial Board and Councils and Committees. Authors with Accepted Abstracts Will Benefit from Worldwide Exposure

The World Allergy Congress is one of the most diverse, inclusive and prestigious international gatherings of allergy, asthma and immunology specialists.

Those authors whose abstracts are accepted will have the opportunity to present them in Oral Abstract Sessions or thematic Poster Sessions on 5, 6 and 7 December 2011. In the Oral Abstract Sessions, the authors will be able to explain and respond to questions from multinational delegates. The Poster Sessions will be displayed in a prominent location and accessible to all to review during lunch and coffee breaks.

Opportunity to Be Showcased as Featured Authors: WAC Abstract Submission Contests

All authors submitting abstracts may participate toward enhanced visibility through two WAC Abstract Submission Contests. These contests provide an opportunity to be part of the global reach of WAO to allergists/immunologists through the WAO Journal and the education features of the WAO website.

All abstracts submitted on case reports will be considered for selection by the Abstract Review Committee as potential WAO Interactive Case Reports, which are published online and can be cited on CVs. (For examples, see http://www.worldallergy.org/interactive_case_reviews/). The winning authors will be showcased as WAO Featured Abstract Authors during the Congress.

All abstract authors, in addition, may elect to submit a paper to the WAO Journal based on their presentation. If the paper is chosen for publication by 1 October 2011, the author will be showcased as a WAO Journal Featured Abstract Author.

All featured authors from both contests will be identified as winners on their posters or oral abstract presentations and in the WAC 2011 Final Program.
