With over 10,000 members in Europe, the UCB Institute of Allergy
develops and disseminates educational tools on allergic diseases to
health professionals and patients via their physicians.
The UCB Institute of Allergy stimulates communication between
communication and clinical research on allergy by awarding Travel
Grants and Extended Scholarships to young scientists twice a year.
The UCB Institute of Allergy sponsors allergy meetings and also
provides free teaching aids, including a CD-Rom. These materials are
available free of charge to all healthcare professionals who are
members of the Institute.
Members of the UCB Institute of Allergy also enjoy a free
subscription to the bimonthly journal Allergy and Clinical
Immunology International as well as a variety of publications on
allergies, suitable for patients as well as medical professionals
and a library which offers, on loan, a selection of audio and visual
information.
