2010 House of Delegates E-vote
A request was recently sent to all 2009-2011 House of Delegate representatives to ratify the latest WAO Position Paper and new WAO Membership Applications in the 2010 House of Delegates E-vote. Delegates should refer to the informational email (sent 21 December 2010) to access links to the ratification ballot and all supporting materials.

XXII World Allergy Congress
Online Registration is now open for XXII World Allergy Congress (WAC 2011)! Gather together in Cancún, México on 4-8 December 2011 to participate in this global scientific event on allergy, asthma and clinical immunology. Co-hosted by Colégio Mexicano de Pediatras Especialistas en Inmunología Clínica y Alergia (COMPEDIA) and Colégio Mexicano de Immunología Clínica y Alergia A.C. (CMICA), this meeting is expected to gather over 5,000 attendees from all over the world. Delegates may count on a stimulating and varied scientific program, highly relevant to both the theory and practice of allergy, asthma and clinical immunology with highly esteemed experts in the field.

Applications Invited for US GLORIA™ Placements, 2011
The US GLORIA™ module on Angioedema, updated for release in 2011, offers exciting insights into new treatments for hereditary angioedema (HAE). The US GLORIA™ program has funding for four placements of this module in 2011. Regional, state and local allergy societies in the US are invited to submit applications via the attached form. The WAO White Book on Allergy 2011-2012 Executive Summary was launched during the WAO International Scientific Conference in Dubai, December 2010. The Executive Summary contains key statements from the White Book and recommendations for action based on WAO Member Society reports on allergy education and service provision requirements. WAO Participation in Member Society Annual Meeting
In support of the 9th International Congress of Egyptian Society of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology (ESPAI) 16-17 February in Cairo, Egypt, a WAO Member Society, WAO will participate by providing a Plenary Lecture to be presented by Marek L. Kowalski, MD, PhD, Medical University of Łódź, Poland, a member of the WAO Board of Directors. Prof. Kowalski will speak on new strategies for preventing asthma exacerbation in children.
