On 2-3 July 2016, the Emerging Societies Program (ESP) held the World Allergy Training School (WATS) at the Park Pribaltiyskaya Hotel in St. Petersburg, Russia. This World Allergy Training School, a joint initiative of the World Allergy Organization (WAO) and the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI), along with the CIS Congress on Allergology and Immunology, hosted delegates from Russia, Georgia, Mongolia and other surrounding countries. WAO President, Prof Mario Sánchez Borges, President-Elect, Prof Ignacio Ansotegui and Dr. Dana Wallace represented WAO as they worked in tandem with ACAAI representatives, Dr. Bryan Martin and Dr. Sami Bahna. A great thank you to Prof Revaz Sepiashvili and Prof Tatiana Slavyanskaya for their hard work in putting together this excellent conference!
