Please note your credentials will have to be verified by the WAO Secretariat before your registration is considered complete. Acceptable verification can either be a letter on department letterhead confirming your status or a copy of your University identification card.

WISC 2014 Registration Includes:

Visitors from some foreign countries will require a visa. Please allow up to 16 business days for your visa to process. Registration costs will not be refunded if you cannot attend the Conference due to being denied for a visa or receiving your visa late. Requirements for a tourist visa include: a passport valid for at least six months from the date of arrival, one passport size photograph and a round trip ticket.

Registration payment can be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express) or by bank transfer. Registrant is responsible for all fees associated with a bank transfer.  Please fax or e-mail a copy of the wire transfer confirmation to the WAO Registration Office. Please include at least one of the following with your wire transfer (whichever applies):

  • The name of the registered delegate
  • A copy of the registration invoice e-mail
  • Registration ID
  • The delegate name or delegate ID

Group Registration

A group is defined as 3 or more individuals. Group Registration will open in March.

Online Registration

All registrations must be made using the online system. If you are having technical difficulties with the online registration system please contact customer service by email or by phone +1 514 228-3156.

On-site Registration

On-site registration will begin on 5 December 2014 at the SulAmérica Convention Center. Please check back for updates on registration hours and locations.

Cancellation Policy

Please send cancellations to the WAO Registration Office by e-mail or fax +1 (514) 380 5383. If you do not receive an acknowledgement within two weeks of submitting your cancellation notice, please contact the Registration Office to verify receipt. Cancellations will be processed according to the following schedule:

1 August–31 October 2014: 50% refund
After 31 October 2014: No Refund

Substitution Policy

No substitutions are allowed. Individuals will have to cancel the original registration and the new person will have to create a new registration. Within groups, however, you will be able to do substitutions at any time up until the regular registration rate deadline (31 October 2014). After this date, you will be charged an $80 USD administrative charge per substitution/name change.
