About the Center: The Department of Allergy and Immunology, Huashan Hospital Fudan University, builds on a long tradition in allergology at one of China’s leading tertiary teaching hospitals. Formally launched in 2021, the department integrates expertise from Dermatology, Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Gastroenterology, and other specialties to provide multidisciplinary, tiered care for allergic and immune-mediated diseases. Through joint clinics, a “1+N” collaborative model, specialized services, inpatient care, and digital follow-up, the center offers comprehensive management for drug hypersensitivity, severe cutaneous adverse reactions, atopic dermatitis and other type 2 inflammatory diseases, hereditary angioedema, eosinophil-associated disorders, vasculitis, and other complex conditions. The department also leads clinical and translational research, hosts national continuing medical education activities, and promotes public awareness of allergic diseases.
