Mission Statement: The UCSD Asthma and Sinus Disease Center is a multidisciplinary effort whose goals are to: 1) Provide asthma care and consultative services to the San Diego community, with a focus on difficult to treat and/or severe asthma 2) Provide care and consultative service for allergic conditions of the upper airways (sinuses and nasal passages), which often occur in concert with asthma 3) Provide access to cutting edge treatments and to clinical trials for eligible patients 4) To perform basic and translational research that will advance the state of knowledge in asthma, allergic rhinitis and sinusitis, nasal polyposis, and treatments for these conditions.
